Venom Media’s History
Venom Media officially became incorporated in January of 2006. The vision of the
company started to take place in 2005 when Will Taylor decided it was time to become
a full time freelance DP. While using all of his prior connections throughout the
television industry, he was able to officially open it’s door’s and purchase most
of the equipment that is required to shoot in the field.
2006 was a great year for the company as it added a few new clients to it’s already
impressive client list. Will Taylor also shot two feature length documentaries which
are due out sometime in 2007.

Starting his professional career with NBA Entertainment as a production assistant
for Inside Stuff (NBC) in 1998, Will Taylor has become quite an accomplished DP.
In 2003, he worked with the New York Giants in connection with Ferro Productions
as Director of Photography for two full seasons. He was responsible for all game
footage while also offering a creative touch for field shoots for the team’s television
productions.
In 2005, Will Taylor left the New York Giants to become a freelance DP for Brisun
Productions. He worked on the Emmy Award winning television show Kids on Deck (Yes
Network), the Emmy Award winning hit Ultimate Road Trip (Yes Network), and the New
York Giants kids show Giants on Deck. (Yes Network)
Since November of 2003, he has become one NBA Entertainment’s top shooters and crew
members for all of their television programs including their national show on ABC
All Access with Ahmad Rashard. He has covered some of the NBA’s major events including
NBA Playoffs, All Star Weekends, and his most memorable moment, Michael Jordan’s
return to the NBA at Madison Square Garden back in November 2001.
Will Taylor is a skilled DP shooting in a verity of different formats with different
cameras. His knowledge gives him the ability to offer shooting with some of the
leading technologies such as the Panasonic Vari Cam, many different Digital/Beta
cameras, as well as Mini DV cameras.
